7th-12th Grades are welcome to audition!


**There are only 16 spaces in the production!! All are able to audition but we can not guarantee that all will be cast


IMPORTANT DATES

Callbacks- Wednesday, October 28th

Rehearsals held on Wednesdays from 5:00-9:00 beginning November 4th

*OFF November 25, December 23, 30

*some dates will be at a different location due to the performance schedule in the theatre

**if double cast, there will be an additional mandatory tech March 8-11 with performances March 12-14 to accommodate both casts



COST

$200 non-refundable registration fee (will be refunded if not cast but not for withdrawals)

$425 production fee (due at auditions)

1- To share your favorite comic, comedic actor or funny person & a short description why

2- Prepare a joke (original or published) We want to see what your comic style is!

Meet the Creative Team

Mike Seal- Director and Set Designer

Michael John Seal co-founded JAC in 2018. He has been the lead carpenter and set designer for JAC since it's inception and is thrilled to be making his directorial debut. Mike has always found comedic acting fascinating and is very excited to work with the talented actors at JAC.  Some other fun facts about Mike are that he studied English at University of Connecticut, he is currently taking a playwriting course through Miramar College and he is a musician who writes music in band called Reverie Noise!

Sebastian Erbe- Assistant Director

Sebastian graduated from the JAC program in 2024 and is so excited to help direct the Play that Goes Wrong! Some of his notable roles include Sam in Mamma Mia and Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. Sebastian is making his assistant directorial debut and can't wait to meet you all!

Jessie Cosentino- Prop and Costume Design

Jessie is one of the founders of JAC and typically works as the director/choreographer for the musical productions.  She is so excited to help bring The Play That Goes Wrong to life with some fun props and costumes!  

All Performances will be performed in the Junior Actors Company Black Box Theater

Additional Info

Production fees are non-refundable unless not cast.  Actors are allowed to only audition for specific parts for this show but it must be specified on their audition form.  All parts are important! For monthly payment plans, If your Junior Actor drops out of the show you are still responsible for the full production fee


Production fees only cover a portion of the costs included in putting on these large scale productions.  Please understand there are no exceptions to our refund policy
