Fall 2025 Kids Show

Kids Shows are all the fun of musical theater packed into one 30(ish) minute performance!

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.


Open to 1st -6th Grade

Auditions are for role placement only.  All who audition are cast, space is limited!

TWO LOCATIONS TO CHOOSE FROM! 

Encinitas or Sorrento Valley!

All Performances will be performed in the Junior Actors Company Black Box Theater

Additional Info

Showtimes are dependent upon cast size.  Once registration is over, show times will be finalized


Production fees are non-refundable.  Actors are not allowed to only audition for specific parts.  All parts are important! For monthly payment plans, If your Junior Actor drops out of the show you are still responsible for the full production fee


Production fees only cover a portion of the costs included in putting on these large scale productions.  Please understand there are no exceptions to our refund policy
