
Ariel, King Triton's youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above, bargaining with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.

The Little Mermaid is a part of the long awaited JAC "Super Show" series where all ages and locations perform together to create one big musical masterpiece! Last year's super show production of Beetlejuice Jr featured 70 junior actors of all ages!

You will be asked to input all rehearsal times that you are available. After, auditions, your junior actor will be placed into one of these rehearsal times. HINT: The more slots you are available for, the more roles you can be considered for

*High School Students ONLY- You have the opportunity to audition for "specific roles only" this means if you are not cast in one of the specified roles listed on your form, you will not be in the show and your fees will be reimbursed. If you want to be considered for all roles, you can specify that as well

THE AUDITION
DUE February 22nd 2026
-Submit a 1 minute vocal audition. Songs must be musical theater and you must sing to a backing track (do not pick a song from Little Mermaid)
-Begin your video with a verbal "slate" stating Name, Age, Parts you are auditioning for and the song you are singing
-Email your submission to info@JuniorActorsCompany.com and make sure to include your junior actors first and last name

Callbacks- February 28th time tbd and depending on role being called back for
Rehearsals will begin March 7-8. Your rehearsal time slot will be assigned after casting has completed
Non- Refundable Registration Fee- $200
This fee reserves your spot in the show and confirms commitment to the production.
Production Fee- $355-395
Production fees are due at the first rehearsal. Cost varies depending on the role as not every cast works with the music director each week.
**Note these fees are separate charges. Total amount will be between $545-595
Production fees are non-refundable. Actors are not allowed to only audition for specific parts. All parts are important! For monthly payment plans, If your Junior Actor drops out of the show you are still responsible for the full production fee
