Rehearsals are held every Sunday in Sorrento Valley and Encinitas. Pick the location that works best for you!
The summer super show is when Junior Actors from all locations come together to create one giant production! This show is open to performers of all experience levels! We can not wait to see the African Savannah live on the stage!

If you would like to be considered for a lead role, you will need to commit to a 1 day per week, weekday rehearsal. Times/Dates will be released after auditions based on availability

Registration Fee is non-refundable. This fee will hold your place in the show and is a commitment to the production.
$235 Production Fee
Due before auditions- Actors are not permitted to audition only for lead roles. Every Role is Important! The production fee is a commitment and must be paid prior to casting is released

Tickets-$20 General Admission
Production fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please make sure to check your summer schedules before registering! For monthly payment plans, If your Junior Actor drops out of the show you are still responsible for the full production fee
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a junior production?
--Yes, The Lion King is currently only available to be licensed as a Jr production. Being the Summer Super Show we will be performing in 2 acts
Will parts be double cast?
--Any part that has 2 deserving actors can and will be double cast! All parts are not guaranteed to be double cast.
We are going on vacation, is it ok to have absences?
--Yes, absences are accepted. For the Summer show I will take a maximum of 3 unless you have spoken to me ahead of time
How will the Extra Weekday practices work?
-- Once casting is done, I will submit a rehearsal schedule of who will be required for the weekday lead rehearsals. You will be able to submit conflicts on your audition form.
I only want to attend Encinitas rehearsals is that possible? (same question for Sorrento Valley)
--Yes, you will be able to submit your preferred rehearsal location on your audition form.
My child has no experience, can they sign up?
--Yes! At JAC we are accepting of all levels. Everyone has to start somewhere!
We are unavailable on the audition date, is there a makeup?
--Yes, anyone that can not make the audition date can schedule a make up or submit via video. This will NOT affect casting.
The Mini Company
There are no productions offered for the mini company ages 4-6 over the summer. We highly suggest they try out one of our many summer camps with new themes offered every week in both Encinitas and Sorrento Valley!
